Agenda

  • Introductions (please use "#info" in front of your introduction to have it show up in the automatic minutes)
  • Announcements
  • Update on releases:
    • 18.05 (previous previous release)
    • 18.11 (previous release)
    • 19.05 (current release)
    • 19.11 (next release)
  • Misc
    • Define responsibilities for wiki curator (Docs team)
      • Database Migration
        • The primary issue for updating the Koha Wiki to allow it to be both more useful and easier to maintain is an historical mistake in database choice when a wiki test suddenly became the only Koha Wiki without sufficiently thorough testing. See Background section from past proposal. Great care has to be taken over migrating to MySQL because a mistake could break the Wiki or leave it in a state from which the MediaWiki version cannot be updated. See Migrating to MySQL section from past proposal. Other things kept interrupting past work even when just one more day was need to test database migration at one past point. -- Thomas Dukleth
      • Obsolete Content
        • Obsolete content should be marked explicitly of course. It should be obvious for any library oriented project that unrecoverably deleting non-spam or mistakenly created content should be contrary to policy. MediaWiki keeps no history of deleted pages (as distinct from editing pages). There is often good information in obsolete content which merely has not been included in current content, thus clear marking as obsolete is good and even doing something so that obsolete pages appear differently in search results is good but deleting pages is bad. -- Thomas Dukleth.
    • Update/obsolete installation guides on the wiki (Docs team)
    • Idea: Koha Community Project Day
      • Everyone could publish project ideas and what they intend to work on before hand and add results at the end of their day. We could have something like a task list too, to pick things from. Not limited to the usual bug testing. (wiki, website content, Hea, Mana, Docs...),
